Company age now counts for Dutch and Belgian companies
KVK and CBE return a company’s founding date without a time of day (20180115,
2018-01-15). The API could not compute an age from that format, so for most Dutch and
Belgian companies registry.age_years came back null and the age-based parts of the
trust score never applied.
From today they do:
- The registry component adds its age credit: +7 for a company registered more than 5
years ago, +3 for more than 2, +1 for more than 1.
- Older verified EU companies can reach the
established_eu_enterprise and
established_eu_sme clusters.
correlations.registry_domain_age_consistency is computed when both the registry age
and the domain age are known.
A fresh check of an older NL or BE company can now score higher than the same check did
before this date. If you store trust scores or compare them over time, expect that step.
Responses served from the result cache (quality: "cached") keep the score of the
fresh check they came from.
