This page is about the connector you sign in to. Developers and agents that connect with an API key or pay per call with x402 use
https://api.limitguard.ai/mcp instead; see AI Agent Integration and Pay Per Call. Before you start
- A Limitguard account. Create one for free at dashboard.limitguard.ai.
- A workspace. Signing up creates one; the connector charges it for paid checks.
- Credit in that workspace for paid checks. Top up in the dashboard. The free tools work without credit.
Connect
1
Add the connector
In Claude, open Customize > Connectors, then + Add > Add custom connector. Name it
Limitguard and use the URL https://api.limitguard.ai/mcp-oauth. Claude detects that the server needs a sign-in and registers itself; no headers or client ID are needed. On a Team or Enterprise plan, an owner adds connectors under Organization settings.2
Sign in and choose the workspace that pays
Claude opens the Limitguard page Connect Claude to Limitguard?. Sign in if asked, choose the Workspace that pays and click Allow. Checks Claude runs are paid from that workspace’s balance. Your role in the workspace must allow connecting apps; owners and admins can.

Ask in plain words
In a chat with the connector on, ask for example: “Verify the Dutch company ASML Holding N.V., KVK 17085815, as a sales lead” or “Screen the name Proximus NV against the sanctions lists”. Claude asks you to approve each tool call unless you allow it permanently.
Tools
The connector has the same tools as the Limitguard MCP server. Each runs one check and returns what it found, where and when.
Prices per call are on the Pricing page. The free previews allow 10 calls per caller per UTC day each.
Paying
- A paid check is taken from the balance of the workspace you chose when you connected. Without enough credit the call is refused with a plain message and nothing is charged.
- A call that returns an error, for example because a register did not answer, is not charged.
- If you turned on automatic top-up in the dashboard, a balance that falls below your threshold can trigger that top-up to your own card, as it does for any other check.
- The connector moves no money or crypto to anyone else. The wallet tools only read public chain data.
Manage or disconnect
- In Limitguard: a workspace owner sees every connected app under Settings > Connected apps, and can disconnect one at once or move it to another workspace they own.
- In Claude: remove the connector under Customize > Connectors.
